Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics

Not a lot of people agree with the pointed arguments I frequently make about the utter failures of the Australian political system.
Chris Kenny is one of few political commentators who speaks out about all the right things.
Compare what he says here with what I have been arguing for at least the last 3-4 years.
Australia's political system is completely undemocratic, unfair and now only locks in one possible outcome, producing a fragmented Parliament and Senate which probably ensures Australia is now unable to pass any substantial political reform.
The worst part about it, the dysfunction is embedded and has become systemic.

As if Australia's political dysfunction wasn't bad enough, it's made worse by the Government forming a shadow coalition with the Australian Terrorist Party, also known as The Greens, and the Teal Cult.
Is it really any surprise that younger voters are so unwilling to engage politically?
And this unwillingness to engage in politics is only creating a stronger foundation to argue against compulsory voting, which in the scope of global politics is beginning to make Australia an outlier.

For reasons I have never understood, Australia has a long history of being blinded by Indonesia's lies.
Indonesia is the most untrustworthy nation in the entire Asia/Pacific region.
Their claims of pushing back against Russia's intentions to establish its own military presence in Indonesian jurisdiction cannot be believed for a second.

This is just a waste and totally hypocritical.
On one hand they're trying to dumb down children by keeping them off the internet until they're 16, and on the other hand trying to teach ages 4-16 digital literacy. :?
No surprise that this country is continually moving backward compared to the rest of the world.
