Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics
Australia complains about terrorists > opens the visa gate to terrorists > warns about domestic terrorism.
It's almost as if Australia is laying the groundwork for a homegrown false flag event.

Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics
There's something very weird about Victoria State's war on work from home.
Very... Very... weird!
It's not normal.
But nothing is normal in the State, anymore.

Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics
It was well within his interests to keep the pandemic going for as long as possible.
His company was involved in key strategic decision-making on testing hubs, test kits and vaccines.
Now he's increasingly becoming more of a key political influencer.
I'm certainly not suggesting Mr. Kala done anything wrong during the pandemic, however I can't help but wonder just how many of the strategic decisions and advice he provided to governments were made in the interest of public health or were just to help build his growing empire.

I guess it explains why the Australian Government is prioritizing importing yoga instructors over tradespersons to build the homes we need.

Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics
This really is just so bizarre.
The RBA Board sets interest rates because its a critical part of its role.
This restructure to create a second Board inside the RBA with the sole responsibility of interest rate decision-making is strange.
I just don't see the purpose of stripping a responsibility from the RBA Board, to duplicate the Board but with different members, to designate it with the same responsibility.
I just don't get it!

Re: [Australian Politics] Australian Politics
The Libs have always been the better economic managers, through Coalition Government.
Even though currently out of office and in opposition, the Libs still prove their ability to identify current economic failures and show they are forward thinking.
What a shame the actual Government can't do the same.

Remember this post on X, from January?
Well, they're at it again.
This time its the Libs saying if reelected they will give tax cuts for the "aspirational", and the "aspirational" only.
As I've pointed out in the past, by "aspirational" they mean the wealthy.
There is no political party for low and middle Australia.
There never really was.
It's always been a club for the elite, and will always be that way.

The whole concept of allocating any form of nationally recognizable personal identification number to minors, for educational tracking and "research" purposes, makes me very uncomfortable.
