[Australian Politics] Economy

This proves, beyond any doubt, the existential crisis that has become the rich vs poor class war.
No longer can anyone say the divide between the rich and the poor is a metaphor.
To do so, ignoring the data and analysis, exposes oneself to ignorance.

This should erase all doubts on how influential Chinese economic policy decisions are on the Australian economy.
China could theoretically bring the Australian economy to its knees, within hours, if it wanted to.

This is precisely what I asserted, just two days ago.
The Australian economy is literally pegged to the Chinese economy, there's almost no way to distinguish the two, based on performance independence.

Pretty worrying economic forecasts for Australia, by the International Monetary Fund.
Its forecasts put Australia second highest, only behind Slovakia, for inflation by the end of 2025.

It's accurate to say Treasurer Jim Chalmers' "better capitalism" experiment has been an even greater failure than the capitalism experiment.

A full-scale US vs China trade war will punish Australia.
It's inevitable.
Australia is so economically tied to China that when we are forced into a position to have to pick a side, Australia will choose China.
This is simply because without China, Australia's economy cannot sustain itself and will ultimately collapse.
The US doesn't have the same economic capacity in place which Australia needs.
That's just the reality of the relationship between China and Australia.

New modeling indicates Australia and its economy is not equipped to cope with a high number of job losses, which could see ~30% of jobs threatened, due to the global transition to AI powered workforce.
Those that face the greatest threat are low-income jobs.

Just more confirmation, really, of everything I've been saying all year.
Sadly, this Government chose to be the economic wrecking ball instead of the economic savior the country needs right now.
But hey, when you're relying on a broken (by design) economic system like capitalism to start with, perhaps it's just the inevitable and unavoidable result of a broken system.

Australia's manufacturing sector has been in free fall for as long as I can recall, and it's accelerating.
No Government has been able to arrest it.
Despite catchy tags and marketing slogans like "Future Made in Australia", statistics continue to show Australia is quickly approaching the point we will become 100% reliant on China, for manufacturing our goods.
