It's always concerning when the Reserve Bank and the Federal Government are at odds with each other, come the economy.
Reserve Bank says inflation is still too high and at risk of increasing.
Federal Government says inflation has downward pressure and will decrease still.

ASIO could stop chasing shadows, for starters.
That'd free up a lot of resources.

Is this the most cringe social media post you've ever seen from an Australian Prime Minister?

Brilliant column, by Chris Kenny, on the mass-stupidity that has overtaken societies, and the inability of societies to accept scientific facts as the truth.

Let's make one thing very clear - Andrew Hastie is a highly respected former military officer and now politician.
However, no matter how respected he is and no matter how much he promises to change if he were to become the next defense minister, it doesn't change the fact that Australia will never be in a position to withstand any incursion by a nation with the might that China and Russia have.
Seriously, we can't even send one ship when the Americans request assistance.
Instead, we pull them into dry dock for lack of sailors!
An all-out assault on Australia would leave us running around like headless chickens.
Because there's no guns in the country for anyone to defend themselves; you can't even mention the word "gun" without being put on a secret blacklist of some kind; and even mentioning "bullet" everybody wants you to remove yourself from society.
It's not just Australian politics and the Defense Force which is sick, but our entire culture, social complacency and geopolitical naivety.

I'm not one to support bans, generally, however in the case of gambling advertising I would absolutely support a blanket ban.
Gambling and sports betting ads are not just annoying, but it's fostered a culture of gambling addiction, in Australia.
And especially in times of televised sport it has gotta stop.

NAPLAN results are in, and they're really not good.
Children which come from wealthy families are continuing to excel, while children that come from poorer families continue to lag.
The status quo has become "entrenched".
As someone who cares very deeply about children's education, and the education sector, wholly, I say we have to do better than this.

Let's be real and stop sugar-coating the issue - Australia's social fabric and cultural tolerance have been torn to shreds due to high and unsustainable immigration numbers.

Now come on, Chris Kenny, let's not try and dispel the lies and disinformation by telling more lies and disseminating more disinformation.
Let's stop this lie that the Nauru detention center is some kind of paradise because it's just false.
Nauru is a provable hellhole that operates under near-top secret conditions as part of an offshore detention program that violates human rights, international law, and numerous UN conventions.
Let's also stop this lie that the "mobs" were chanting "Gas the Jews".
That is NOT what they were chanting, and is just a Sky News AU narrative played.
In fact, not only can they be easily heard with the naked ear chanting "Where's the Jews", but it has been concluded through technical analysis that they were chanting "Where's the Jews".
That does not make the chant any less serious by nature, but to deliberately lie and twist the semantics in such a serious way, just to suit your narrative, is purely deceptive and no better than the tactics used by those you're attempting to call out.

Why is this a surprise to so many, that the green-left Teal cult are siding with green-left party, The Greens?
I told y'all from day 1 this would happen and they would effectively vote as one bloc.
All this does is prove exactly what I've always said.
