It turns out St. Vincent's Health Australia was not hacked, instead unauthorized access was ascertained through simply using a username and password as any user does.
Oh boy...
So much for the media attempting to originally frame it as a "sophisticated hack".
The only thing they fell short on was directly blaming Russia.

QUICK ANNOUNCEMENT 
To counter the small increase in spam accounts being registered, all new accounts registered will require manual approval by a board administrator.
Legitimate accounts newly registered will generally be approved within 12-24 hours.
This does not affect anonymous posting on the board.
