Australian media certaintly kept that part quiet.

What is deeply troubling is Australians are becoming increasingly complacent with Chinese aggression.
It's troubling because that's exactly what the Chinese want from a society it continues to beat down and inject its own idealogy into the minds of.

China is phasing out the use of Intel and AMD chips to favor homegrown chips and its domestic economy.
Also, moving forward China will focus on domestic development of its homegrown Linux (undoubtedly backdoored) to shift reliance away from Microsoft Windows and other US software.
Essentially, China is aiming to become technology independent and self-sustainable.

There's a lot going on in the Asia-Pacific.
Especially with the US, Japan and the Philippines.
To say China is unhappy about it is an understatement.
They're particularly unhappy about Japan's reinvigorated plans for rearmament and shift away from its former pacifist approach to geopolitics and defense.
