So let me get this straight, Nine Media expresses concern that News Corp sign a deal with OpenAI to get their content scraped for AI training.
So Nine Media responds by potentially blocking access of AI bots so their own content cannot be scraped, which if it were could counter News Corp dominance in training.
Nine Media's response to this makes no sense and is totally counter-productive.
They literally just destroyed any merit the argument about News Corp's dominance had, in the AI arena.

For years I've been calling out the obvious bias at the ABC, including during the tenure of Ita Buttrose.
I have called it out on social networks and through articles I've written.
Oh so how convenient it is that just months after she has left the organization, Ita Buttrose now admits the ABC is biased; it can't handle criticism; and is obsessed with Murdoch media.
All the things I've been saying about the ABC for so long, yet been criticized for.
I'm curious, why did she not admit all of this while working there as the Chair?
Instead, she chose to lie and protect the ABC, which only ensured it became a government-sponsored propaganda arm charmingly disguised as "Our ABC".
Kinda like the Chinese regime labels its formal title as "The People's Republic of China", as if a democratic vote is what paved the way for totalitarian rule.
It's not "Our ABC", it's 'Their ABC'; and a government-sponsored propaganda arm which was solidified by the woman who now seemingly wants to criticize the operation she was responsible for oversight.

Pretty sure this response proves the exact point Ita Buttrose made.
The ABC, and its army of loyalists, are too soft and can't handle the criticism.
Ita Buttrose is as weak as the corporation she criticizes.

The Australian accuses the ABC of being soft (they are) but it seems The Australian themselves have become a bit soft, flagging and blocking my comments.
Perhaps after years of The Australian rejecting woke cancel culture, it has finally succumbed.

I was in high school during the pre-internet era.
We had no access to porn on the internet and sex education was taught, and actually embraced, in our high school.
It is considered essential education and I am grateful for it.
Today, we like to boast about society being more "open" and "free" to talk about anything, without judgment.
However, sex education still seems to be taboo and in many high schools it's still not even taught.
Adults like to believe we know what's best for our teens.
However, it's now becoming very clear from research and studies that we [adults] don't actually always know what's best for our teens, only that we like to believe that we do.
Access to porn is being embraced by teens in a very mature way, even from a very young age, and often they are consuming it from the perspective of education.
The latter point is very important.
The studies are showing porn is filling the void left by the lack of sex education.
