Should we start taking bets for how long it will be before US regulators are talking antitrust, with NVIDIA?
Don't get me wrong, NVIDIA has done amazing things in the AI sector, however its dominance is now looking like a monopoly in the making, and it could become problematic for its competitors by sending them into a negative free fall.
That's not a good thing because it will only stifle innovation, leading the sector into a one-way path for AI - the NVIDIA way.
And for a sector that is effectively still in its infancy, stifling innovation this early on in the game isn't a good thing.

Is it really such a bad thing if AI overtakes humanity on a scale of intelligence?
Let's face it, humanity is collectively pretty stupid.
The important thing to not forget is AI and machine learning systems don't train themselves (yet).
As long as humans are developing models and feeding them the data to learn from, we remain in control.

The Americans simply cannot fathom that China has released something good and technologically competitive.
Their response is to fabricate false information and disseminate propaganda.

I strongly concur.
This is the most accurate and balanced observation regarding how the US has been caught off guard in the AI race, and the unfounded fears surrounding AI need to be set aside in favor of embracing this transformative technology.

Salesforce is putting a hiring freeze on software engineers, instead is hiring an additional 2000+ people to sell AI to its clients.
I wonder how long before AI replaces those sales staff and starts selling itself - AI selling AI.

BYD is surpassing Tesla because BYD is making high-quality affordable EVs for real people, with excellent AI technology.
Unlike Tesla, which makes terribly designed highly-expensive vehicles, with mediocre software.
Simply put, BYD is better.
